Many thanks to the band at Hensingham for giving us a great welcome and a wonderful venue for the event. We are very grateful to Stephen Hall for doing an excellent job as judge – it was lovely to see him at a Guild event again.
Thank you to all the bands that took part and made it such a joyful time. Congratulations to ‘Penrith Pringles’ for coming first in the Methods competition and congratulations to ‘Fellowship of The Ringers’ (Cathedral) for coming first in the Rounds and Call Changes competition.
The splendid afternoon was overseen by a very wise owl – who took quite a lot of persuasion to come down and join us for the splendid Bellringers Tea!
