Carlisle Cathedral is looking more beautiful than ever – as it is full of Christmas trees, celebrating the joy of the Season.
The trees have been decorated by local charities, schools, local businesses and groups from the community. For the first time, the Cathedral bellringers had their own tree and festooned it with every kind of bell – many lovingly made or sought out from far places.
The festival runs from Saturday 6 December until Sunday 4 January – so take some time out from the hustle and bustle of Christmas preparations and soak up the sparkle of these fabulous trees.
